1TB Hard drive from Virgin Box not showing in "Windows explorer"

Hi guys - just built a new system using an SSD as a boot drive and have fitted a 1TB Samsung from an old Virgin TV box.

BIOS sees it
Device Manager sees it, says it is working correctly but that it is not initialised.
Does not appear in Windows Explorer - only the SSD is available as a storage device


Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have tried right clicking in device manager to see if I can format or give it a drive letter but those options don't seem to be available

Click start - type diskmgmt - hit enter.

Initialise the drive correctly for windows.
