hi

so ive decided that these are the best speakers money wise..

Logitech X-210 2.1 Speaker System

Creative T3130 2.1 Speaker System

Logitech X-230 Speakers System

what is the best out of these?

x210 - no bass control....
T3130 - ugly design
x230 - better than both (i think =/ ...not sure though)....but i cant seem to find any for sale...only ebay sells used 1s.....have logitech stoped production with these?

I think I saw someone say not long back they were stopping the 230's, or have done so. I believe to be replaced with the LS21, to my knowledge.

Then I reccomend the creative t20 2.0 speakers, you dont need a sub with these babys, cheap subs are bad, get a pair of really good 2.0's and your sorted!

great bass without ****ing off all your neighbors

seriously good speakers, read a couple of reviews if you like!

like ...up to £40 max? =/

good/decent bass....and decent sound quality

I've just received my Logitech Z323
http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/speakers-audio/home-pc-speakers/devices/5862

I bought it from somewhere else for just under £36, and for the price it's not THAT bad, but it's not that good either.
There's a bass controller behind the subwoofer, and obviously you need to fiddle with it for a couple of minutes to get it 'tuned' to your liking.
As far as I'm concerned, it's neither cheap or overpriced and it's just like..."you get what you pay for" sort of thing. I just bought it for watching films and playing games with my friends.

Having said that, I have to say that I prefer my £18 KOSS PortaPro over this (for listening to music)...;)

lol...yh at first i wanted to get them.

but ....i have read many reviews about these speakers....saying that its crap...sound goes muddy when turned up =/

then i turned to x-210.....but they have no bass control.... =/

also looked at the t3130....but compared to x-210 ...the design sucked =/

then it found a decent x-230....had great reviews and everything i wanted (i think).....but they have stoped production =(

so ive went back t3130 now....not sure if i should decide on getting them =/

To be honest you shouldn't be expecting anything good from these cheap speakers anyway.

As Nick1881 said, you probably won't find speakers that sound 'great' in that price range.
Unless you're willing to pay for it, just get a nicely priced pair of headphones and you're sorted.

like i said, t20 speakers provide amazing sound/bass, you wont find any better for the price you are asking.

2.1s are 40/50 are really no good, but go ahead lol ;p

**** yea!

these speakers are bassy! you feel it pumping against your chest/and in your head, so good!

i listen to mostly heavy bass music, hardstyle (hard style of dance, pounding heavy bass) and psychedelic trance, and boy these are great!

really?

because i cant exactly believe that those 2 small speakers couuld create much bass...

ive also looked at some youtube vids.....the bass arent even that great unless close to the speakers (since the hole on the top part of the speakers produce the bass)

I bought the Gigaworks T-40 (series 2) back in Feb. The bass was a real let down as I had heard they were very good. In fact the sound quality on them is far from great for something that cost me around £100
I can only imagine the T-20's are even worse (bass wise) but as they are half the price they should be good for the cost and you prolly won't find anything better in that price range. Both the T-20's and T-40's do look really nice on a desk if that is important to you but just don't expect much in the way of bass with either.
I have also found with the T-40's that it does depend hugely on the type of music you are listening to. classical, jazz, acoustic does sound very, very good (and should on the T-20's also)
I regretted buying the T-40's almost as soon as I got them and plan on replacing them with the Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1 very soon.
Don't expect any type of good bass for something less than £50 but I would say the T-20's would be a good buy for you at your price point. Just don't expect too much from them.

i c....

so compared to the t3130 and x-210..

which is better?

judging from the price....obviously the T-20's....

but bass wise? im thinking the t3130 or x-210....since they got a proper sub ...right? or am i thinking it wrong? =/

lately...ive looked around and found the creative t3100 speakers

ive looked around on youtube and they seem to be good...

does any one have these?

tell me about them?

and also....which is better t3130 or t3100....

since they are my only choices....didnt want to spend 'that' much on t20 =/

I had the T6100, which were the 5.1 version of the T3100. They were good for games and movies, but poor for music. However, that will be the case for any 2.1/5.1 speakers around that price. It depends on the user though, some people want a certain level of sound quality, which isn't so important to others, aslong the said speakers sound reasonably good.

The T3100/T6100 offer plenty of bass if that is what you are looking for. T3130 has a slightly less powerful sub, only by 2 watts though. Whether or not that would be noticeable, who can say without a direct comparison.

I noticed in a previous post you mentioned the Logitech Z323, I believe, that the sound goes muddy at high volume. All cheap 2.1/5.1 speakers will, they are cheap for a reason. I found the T6100's sound fell apart at high volume.

I'd go with what Nick1881 said, go with the ones that have the features you require. Out of the 2, the T3100's seem to get more favourable comments, or less negatives ones in comparison to the T3130's, but are they still available?
