I wouldn't search for speakers in stores I've bought on Ebay very nice and not so expensive 2.1 set (but for a bit more that 40 pounds) Creative I-Trigue L3450. Sounds better than X-230 for me.

mm...looks nice....but now...on ebay theres only used 1s....

plus....the white speakers and subs dont go with my black PC =/

because when i search ...i saw other types of Creative I-Trigue ....

like i said, t20 speakers provide amazing sound/bass, you wont find any better for the price you are asking.

Behringer MS16 are better.

Logitech Z-4? A little over you budget though, I think mine are brilliant for the price.

I bought Logitech X-210 2.1 Speaker System few months ago and am very happy with it. The whole system is very compact especially speakers and they provide very good output.

well....it doesnt have bass control =/

and ....heard that most of the time the bass is too loud =/
