looking for a new one as mine on its last legs whats a good one prefer non green good warranty seen a toshiba 3tb 7200 any good.

And the ones to avoid

Seagate or WD in my experience - never had any issues with mine, and appear well-regarded on here.

now days most drive would be fine, for me i'd go for the cheapest with the best warranty, as over the years i've had them all, WD seem for me to be the best, with Toshiba, Hitachi then Seagate next.

Seagate always seems to be the cheapest, but works as well as any tbh

WD Black and Toshiba tend to be the fastest, unless you have silly money and go WD raptors etc

for me there's none to avoid now days.
