Hi,

I've just bought a 2.5" SSD and want to put this into my desktop machine. Does anybody know of any conversion kits that will allow me to fit it in the 3.5" bay?

Any other ways of doing this would also be welcome.

Many thanks

i brought one the other day to mount my SSD. tho i did have problems and ended up using the converter to install it in the floppy drive bay as my hard drive bays were none standard. anyway.

what you need to do is, go to yahoo or google and search for , 2.5 to 3.5 HDD Kit

the very first result will be for a store that is both highstreet and online so depending if u have one near u u can pick up a converter.

its basically a metal bracket that u screw the SSD into and costs £9.99

hope this helps

What about using velcro strips? No issue with vibration so you could fit it somewhere on your case, maybe the left side panel.
