2 amps running together.. buzzing/interferrance noise

hi guys, my mate has 2 amps in his car, 1 for sub, 1 for speakers, but the speakers and making a buzzing noise when playing music does anyone know what could cause this? theres a good power supply and earth ect. i havn't had a chance to look at it yet just looking for some ideas please, thanks

Sounds like it could be a ground loop, are both amps earthed at the same place?

is he running the power leads for the amps down the same side as the speakers? they can cause interference if run down the same side. also could be poor quality cabling.

not sure, but i have done this myself and not had any problems

Does the pitch of the buzz change with the rev's of the car?
