2 and a Half Men

I love some american TV shows, like Frasier or Friends for example, but I initially expected 2 and a Half Men to be crap.

After practically being force fed episodes of this show on Paramount I gave it a chance.

Ive gotta admit I think its funny as hell, and Ive always liked Charlie Sheen from films like Wall Street and Hot Shots so its good to see him on a popular show.

The humour is pretty adult considering its televised all day round.

Any fans?

Great show, the kid comes out with some legendary lines

It's an excellent show, and well written, but mainly I like that a lot of the comedy is inferred using great timing and subtle gesture rather than just from a funny script. The dynamic between Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen is brilliant, but I could take or leave the kid... though I realise the show would be redundant without him. Looking forward to new episodes starting on Monday.

I watched this and enjoyed it up until the latest season when I realised just how much they use the laugh button. It seemed that every other line warranted a laugh when very few (if any) were funny.

So anyway I don't watch it now.

There is way too much laughs but thats just an America comedy thing. Two and a Half Men is right up there on my current favourite comedy's.

The family guy parody is funny too.

Got all the seasons on DVD (that are available) and watched all the episodes so far, I can watch them over and over again

Yep seen practically all of it, and think its great.
Charlie sheen is a great comic actor.

Recently re-watched the brilliant Hot Shots films and he was excellent in those. And the first one starred Cryer too.

I'd say it's on par, the thing about HIMYM is that Lily is an annoying **** and Barney makes up for most of the show!

Two and a Half Men has some really funny moments though.

I love the fat kid, hes superb and comes out with some right corkers and the way he just says it with a dumbfounded look.

Ive always liked show from day one plus some of the women that Charlie ends up sleeping with are pretty tasty especially the episode with the french chick...when Alan is going for his bike ride with that ridiculous outfit...damn she was hot hot HOT.

Awesome comedy, Niles is HILARIOUS. Currently working my way through season 1 episodes.

Luckily I watched them all so long ago that it's like watching for the first time.

I wish I could forget The Matrix as well.
