hi all I sent my GPU back to overclockers on the 10th of april and received by overclockers on the 11th of April then send back to manufacture (gigabyte) on the 15th of april so not including the 15th im on day 26 now and whenever I ring overclockers they say that they haven’t heard anything from gigabyte yet ??? A inconvenience is an understatement for what iv gone through to get my 1300 pound GPU fixed that wasn’t my fault and poor customer service on gigabytes part

The card is a 2080ti gigabyte

also what I don’t understand is how overclockers managed to send me my old card if they didn’t have it and it turned up in overclockers box and tape with haribo ? Overclockers must have had the card the hole time Getting really Angry with all this now

I will never be using overclockers ever again after this

I’ll have to check it when I get home but according to overclockers it was to be replaced. Only takes 10 minutes of gameplay for it to stop working I’ll check it latter for fun

i thought gigAbyte was one of the better companies for rma in UK?

I got a feeling it’s more Overclockers UK then gigabyte overclockers told me that gigabyte had the card still but when I got onto the @GIGA-Man To look into it they sent me my original card back to me that apparently they didn’t have yet they managed to send it back to me next day delivery in overclockers box tape and Haribo sounds like they had it for a while. But ether way Iv been without my 1300 pound GPU now since the 10th of April and all they have done is sent my my broken card back. Iv tested it and it is still 100% broken there are Image Links in this thread. All overclockers said on the phone is that it was replaced when it is clearly my old card

So basically it sounds like the cards been sat somewhere for a few weeks, your chasing prompted them to just send it back out to you due to the 28 day turnaround?

The chasing should have prompted the swift replacement of the card, not the former.

Think you have hit the nail on the head with that comment my friend

One attempt at repair failed, you're entitled to full refund. Which is the right thing to do anyway now, not like you can be told we'll do it right this time and have you wait even more.

Iv taken the card out of my hard line water cooled build I’d like the same card back because iv got a EK waterblock that I had to cut a peace out of the block to get it to fit to the GPU refund would be no good to me replacement is what I want so I can get my pc up and running fully again

Hi Milescross,

I'm sorry to hear of the problems you've had with your recent RMA. To try and explain the situation, We simply returned the card back to you as it had been sent back to us from Gigabyte, with the understanding that the card had been repaired. Unfortunately our returns system is a little inflexible when it comes to the terminology of the RMA outcomes. After 28days we will send it back to manufacturer and it is then up to them to either repair or replace. Gigaman might be able to explain more of the RMA proceedure at Gigabyte, as he is better placed to do so than I am.

To deal with the matter at hand, I've got your RMA details from the info you posted up earlier, I'll setup a new RMA for you, we will replace with one from our stock. I will then take this up with our Gigabyte rep. I hope this will solve the problem for you?

Yes a replacement will be fine I have a new address now from the number 10 where you sent the original card I have updated my account to show my new address it’s now the number 38 address please make sure the new card goes to this address. If it’s easier I can ring you

Thanks miles
