I used to use a 350g wd hdd, then a few months ago i bought a 1tb sata and replaced my 350g with the 1tb one.

Since that time my 350g is now just lying around collecting dust so i am interesting in reconnecting it to my comp as a second hdd (internal one if possible.)

Power supply is not a problem, but mobo connectivity is. i only have 1 slot to connect a hdd to (i think) so how would i connect the second drive.

Is the problem simply solved by buying a cable with 2 hdd connectors?

If, you only have 1 SATA port, highly unlikely that it is the case. you could always get yourself 30quids worth of harddisk caddy, so you could use it externally.

My mobo details are:

Manufacturer: Dell
Model: 0CT103 A03
Chipset nvidia geforce 6150 A2
Southbridge: nvidia nforce 410/430 mcp

Google tells me that your motherboard is sitting in a Dimension E521, and it has four on-board SATA ports.

There are two purpose-designed 3.5" HDD bays in the case (at the lower front), so you should be good to go.
