2 Games for 360, but which?

Only looking to spend about £70 next friday, choice of titles are:

Guitar Hero III
COD4
Halo 3
Assassins Creed

Decisions decisions... Anyone able 2 comments who has any of the above? (apart from GH3 of course).

Deffinately COD4 as one without a doubt if you like MP gaming. (Going off PS3 version here but its exactly the same on the 360 anyway)

GH3 by itself is min 60 quid

Not a huge fan of most of the songs either

I would get Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect, although on the other hand would drop one of them for something with some mulitplayer and get COD4 or Halo to go with one of the other 2. And get Guitar Hero aswell

OH AND DO NOT BUY HALO 3 NEW!

Everyone has been trading it in, I was offered £16 for it today in the better trade in place, so try grab a second hand copy for about £22. I've kept mine now, cba getting rid of it for less that half I paid for it just over a month ago.

I say get GH3 as I have played GH2 pretty much nearly everyday since I have had it. H3 was fun but lost it's appeal. Seems to be missing something for me.

Get COD4. Assassins Creed and Mass Effect can be bought when you're ready for lots of SP action.

I'd just pick one of those 2 (CoD4) and Assassin's Creed.

Although as mentioned, Mass Effect is out next week so if it's your type of game then swap Assassin's Creed for that.

With wireless guitar yes. But you can find it for £60.

You can also just buy the game and use a GH2 guitar for £40.

hmm..

60 is still a lot since i gotta buy guitar too, i might put gh3 on hold for a while and get mass effect, cod 4, orange box and whatever else

I was thinking of getting it without the guitar, but sorta defeats the point. I've been playing the demo constantly and I've gotten used to the pad for it now.

Seeing as I've never played any of the Halo series, might be best if I skipped it. COD4, Assassins Creed and GH3 - if I can get the first two 2nd hand.

I'm taking money out of my savings just for it. Still not happy about how much easier it is though.

The reason I say get the MP games first is because they don't last that long. People move onto the next MP game when it comes out. At least this way you know you can walk into a store later and buy 2 kick ass SP games.

So far I can do all tracks on medium without missing a note with the pad, and a couple tracks on hard with the pad. Some are harder than others though.
