Hi. I have 2 Hard Drives which are. One 120GB SSD and a Seagate 2TB HDD. At the moment I have windows 7 installed onto the SSD. I have my SSD connected to the Seagate HDD so I can put games on it. If I half the Seagate HDD partition which has no OS on at the moment but if I did put an OS on the other half of the Partition on the HDD and when I go to run the other OS will it use the SSD in any way?. Say if I got a virus on the HDD with the OS partition on would that effect the SSD as well?.

Because what I am wanting to do is make the SSD and half of the HDD for games and use my SSD and half of the HDD for gaming only. With the other OS on the HDD go on the internet Only.

Hope you understand. thanks

Also I have just thought of if the HDD with the OS on it got a virus would that also effect the 2nd partition of the HDD where my games are installed from my SSD and if so could that then transfer to the SSD like that?.

lol I no it seems complicated but it was even more complicated trying to write it down.

You have two drives:

1) SSD with OS on
2) HDD for games

You want:

1) SSD with OS on
2) a partition on the HDD for games
3) a partition on the HDD for a second OS

Yes it is completely doable.

A virus could still infect other drives on your system.
