2 hudl 2's. But different android versions

Hi all I've gotva strange query.

Me and my wife both have hudl 2's. They are both upto date according to the update checker yet mine is ver 5.1. But my wife's is only 4.4.2

Anyone got any idea why this would be?

Interesting. My mum has a Hudl2, which is on 4.4.2, and is apparently up to date.

Phased update? Not uncommon to avoid overloading download servers.

That would seem likely. A phased update would make sense as to why some have have it and others don't.

Just did a quick search and I found another forum with talk of an update to Lollipop. Someone got a reply from Tesco saying it would happen, but they didn't have a time frame. That was back in March. The last post was someone saying they updated to Lollipop 2 weeks ago.
