2 LCD monitors and one HDMI ?

Hi

I have a new build, including a ATI 5850. I have two DVI connected LCD monitors (24inch), and a Samsung 40inch LCD connected via HDMI. I can get the TV working with one monitor, but not with two. I have installed latest 10.3 drivers.

I want to have all three working at the same time, and then ideally something like Boxee always running on the Samsung 40inch

How can I get this to work, or am I missing something ?

triple setups need one of the outputs to be display port, theres no way around that. The outputs are electrically routed separately, hdmi/dvi are electronically compatible, display port isn't, so some of the routing from the core to outputs is display port only.

Its a shame but its like IDE/Sata, theres only so much room for connections on the chip.

There are active dvi to display port adaptor, a general passive adaptor like you can get for vga/dvi wouldn't work as the signal needs to be processed, not just shoved down a different wire. They aren't particularly cheap though and selling a screen on and buying a new one with display port might be the cheapest option.
