2 modems, one line?

What would happen if I got a new modem, and connected it to a PC seperate from the one that has the original modem attatched? Would it work? Or would I need a new BB subscription?

Only one could work at a time, if you tried running both not sure if even 1 would work

Ideally you want a router so you can connect multiple computers to the internet at once.

Buttocks, nevermind. I broke my 2wire adapter and thought that I could get better speeds with a seperate modem.

I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to this also...

So I can ditch Orange (but still pay monthly) and go with £10 a month Sky Broadband

Do you mean ditch orange broadband and then get sky BB?

If so no, you can only have one provider on the line at once. They would let you pay the remainder of the contract of at once if you wanted to end it early
