It takes two is a masterpiece. So glad I played it, usually not my kind of game.

is there a story line to LFD2? she loves zombie games.

There is a comic that ties everything together, and a loose story throughout the campaigns. But it's more of exploration and environments though the campaigns. That said it is excellent, like how part of the story of Half-Life is told through the atmosphere.
