HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I just read that
im back yup no fire
Ok so the first bit of info is my psu been working since September 2015 right, 550w super flower sf-550p14he...
It ran a
Cpu: 4ghz phenom
Ram: 15gb
Gpu : radeon r9 fury x
Hdd: loads of old power hungry shiz
The system was tweeked AS *** No Disguised swearing ***.... psu took everything.. power blasts ..u name it.. it ran fine..
I switched over to a haswell -e based 5820k 4.3ghz
8gb ram this time.. 8 months ..fine
Then i moved house......been here 3-4 weeks?
Psu trips the breaker when the pc was on idle (i was in the bathroom) i reset everything.. boot the pc and the psu gave power to the pc for half a second and never turns on again...
Now 4 days ago i got a evga 650gq... i thought maybe the 550w psu couldn't handle the fiji xt & haswell-e overclock yea... so i went for a 650w....
Everything is fine... i am gaming.. .. leave the pc for maybe 15-20mins (i think the game was running).. am downstairs daydreaming and next thing u know
"LOUD POP" .. circuit breaker switches off again
I find out.. the psu don't turn on anymore..
So i switched the power cable to another one..
I flip the socket switch on (different socket but on same... socket) and then the psu gave a real loud POP.
Anyone here know whats going on?
See bailey my gut instinct worked out. Is good i didn't get the psu here, because i doubt i would get a refund on this....
This to me don't sound like a pc problem...... hmmm
This may be a fuse box / windows 10 insider problem... of when it enters idle mode..and a game is running...it goes into crazy power draw..
I noticed the other day when i alt tabbed out of a game.. my gpu/headphones started screetching loud.. as if it was going 50000fps
I had radeon FRTC enabled though....
If this is a windows 10 problem... this is bad.. because everyone now is complaining files get deleted from a new update.... well my whole desktop got deleted 8 months ago in a windows insider preview build...
Eventually the build im on now will go public
