Yup - I don't know if the model he named is capable of being operated within the PMR446 spec or not but the key thing is if they are capable of and that you stay within when operating them if you want to avoid any trouble. Not something you want to get wrong really as depending on what you interfere with if you did the response could be anywhere from slap on the wrist to actual proper deep **** if you interfered with air traffic control, etc.

I think kit that transmits in the emergency service and air bands in far more strictly controlled than PMR gear.

we bulk bought some cheap argos ones, used in-ear headsets and never had any issues in a manufacturing environment
