the 4k reads and writes seem low or is it just me? Should it be around double?
used 128k as stripe size.

Install these drivers. Once installed open the Matrix Storage Manager, go to Advanced and right click the array. Enable Volume Write Back Cache.

Thanks mate it did help with the 4k write speeds but the 4k read speeds stays the same?

Just over 20 MB/s on the 4k read, and about 100MB/s on the write?

133 on write, 20mb on read. Do you have 2 intels on raid too? The read is the same as a single drive, is that right?

These are my benches for 2 x X25-M G2s in RAID0 with 32KB stripe for comparison...

Remember the benchmarking tools, can differ quite significantly run to run so if you're in the ballpark of jb's, which mine are too, then you're good

To make CDM as accurate as it is capable of being with SSD's you should use the maximum passes and file size. Otherwise the results can be way off, especially the 4k writes.

Personally I wouldn't bother at all with CDM for SSD's and just stick with AS.

128KB. I found smaller stripes "felt" more sluggish, I didn't time things. I know a lot of people have suggested smaller stripes, but it didn't work for me. I figure a lot of the old testing was done on XP, and it's a pure guess that Windows Vista and 7 have perhaps pushed up the filesizes a bit, making a bigger stripe more worthwhile.

Try imaging your Windows install and try different sizes to see what works best for you.
