2 X Sli GTX560ti - good performance?

These are taken from anandtechs gtx 760 review. I think its safe to assume if these games have good SLI scaling then the 560 ti will easily beat a 7950 boost. (Assuming anandtechs benchmarks are reliable)

Anand are not as reliable as you think, is there a link for that? because Anand don't always use the latest drivers on older GPU's when testing newer ones in comparison, AMD's GPU's have gained about 30% since release on the latest drivers.

Those tests were done with 13.5 and 13.6 drivers.

There's also the pitiful (and still criminally underclocked) boost clocks to take into account, but I guess we're talking about stock vs stock here.

I chose anandtech as that's who you linked me to hehe

Honestly though, I really don't see how its possible for a stock 7950 to beat 560 ti sli. We can argue it can be overclocked etc but so can the 560ti's.

The 7950 would have its benefits such as lower power consumption and possibily cheap upgrade if op got decent money for his 2gb 560 ti. I think telling him that a single 7950 will be faster is a bit misleading though and setting him up for possible disappointment.

925Mhz Boosted i think, its still a very low clock, 20 to 30% still to be had out of that.

13.5/6 are also not much ahead on 12.11, 13.10 gain a couple % and 13.11 B1 a few more.

He's not going to be disappointed with performance that is (to compromise) just the same as 560TI's in SLI and have cooler temperatures, less power consumption, the advantages of just one GPU, and that extra GB of vRam that he will need for BF4. :)

Yeah, true. I believe they used they latest drivers available at the time of the review though.

Some of those boost clocks are a joke. 830mhz 'boosted' to 840mhz with the MSI 7950 and 850 to 925 on the HIS... What's the point, apart from fooling those that don't know any better?

Still, they're testing stock vs stock and that's what they have to work with...

How much did AMD invest in bf4 advertising again, think it was a couple of million  Seems to have worked ;)
