20" for gaming

Well my monitor may be on its last legs. Every now and then it flickers which may be the old PC I am using with it for the next day until usual system is back. But I've also somehow managed to make an annoying crack in the screen about 3mm long.

Think 20" will probably suit me as it is only for gaming and movies next to my bed. Will be paired with a gtx260. Any recommendations? Budget ~130-140

For that money you can only go for TN panel (which is not so bad as other say IMO).
Samsung T200 looks and performs much better then things Samsung SM2053BW Aqua or similar sreens, so I would recommend that one.

If you are willing to spend around ~150-170 you can get 22" full HD screen like ASUS, although I have to played with it and cannot really comment of the quality.

What makes you say the Samsung T200 is better than the Samsung SM2053BW Aqua

I have played with both and IMO T200 has better factory color calibration and slightly more uniform backlight (this is what the series is called for Touch of Color).
I know you can tweak SM2053BW colors, but to do it right that requires hardware calibrator which is expensive.
Also subjectively T200 looks nicer and more presentable.

What does the T stand for? Has it got TV connections or is that a different Model?

So, you say the T200 has a better picture than the SM2053BW

T stands for "Topaz" - a gem stone, but the series is Touch of Color.
The picture on both T200 and SM2053BW is about the same, but T200 is better factory calibrated and thus has slightly better color reproduction. You can get the pretty much the same picture on SM2053BW if you calibrate it properly, but why bother if you can get T200?

Don't get we wrong, they are both fine screens (as fine as TN gets), but I just favour T200 more.
