My Viewsonic 2025 has had to go back following DVI port failure and cluster of black pixels in the centre of the screen. The replacement has arrived but unfortunately its dead on arrival.

I need a new screen in a hurry and will just sell the replacement when it comes but was wandering if there's anything else around that might be better????

The spec of mine is 20" screen, 8ms response time, 700:1 contrast and used to be one of the best 20" screens you could get.

I've had a look around but really the important things are dead pixel warranty (Viewsonic have been brilliant - only 3 dead ones and they replaced another screen) and suitability for gaming and DVD's. Budget is £150-250.

Are these any good?

Is the Dell better than the Samsung SM-206BW??? It's £80 more expensive and it has a 16ms response time? Am I missing something?

For some odd reason Dell quotes black to black time while the rest of the world quotes grey to grey. The screen is actually 8ms g2g

And IMO *** Dell is an awesome screen.

Shop around, it can be found on the well known auction site for a snip.

I see! Thanks for that. I've heard that revision A03 is the best one to go for so too? If I pick one up of the "auction site" I'll make sure it's this one!
