20 to old to go to uni?

Im 22 and have applied to go this yr, if i dont get in i'll try again next year, I will be 23 then. I've been in college this yr, now thats even more strange being 22 in a class with school leavers lol

When I went for interview with the uni, most of the people there doing the interview at the same time, their ages varied from 18 to 35

20 is young to go uni, 30 is young to be honest.

Two of my mates at uni were about 25 ish when they finished, you're never to old.

Haha yeah, I graduated in may - already lining up jobs to fund a masters in a years time! MUST GO BACK!

Too old? Man, if I felt like it, I could stroll into a university today and do a course in psychology

(But I'm far too lazy and broke :S shame really probably be really interesting...)

I went to uni at 18, left at 21, went back at 23 for post grad, was actually in halls when i was 25 too.

It's fine but you have to have the right outlook at personality. If you are going to be a hermit and stay in your room then it will be weird.

no, like already said, as long as you dont make yourself feel like and old outcast. There was a guy in out halls when i was 18, he was about 27 and came out with us all the time. We didnt even know his age until about 2 months in. He was sound

In my final year there was a guy in his early 40s was sound too.

I've just finished my first year at Uni, and I'm 43 !
Having a great time, age doesn't make much difference in my opinion but then I'm still into my music/cinema/gaming so have a lot in common with some of the others despite being old enough to be their Dad.

I'm err over 20 and doing an open uni course, I was also as Leceister Uni years ago and there was a wide range of age groups there, don't worry about it at all mate

Fantastic, good stuff mate!! Thats what I like to hear, age is not a barrier and not conforming to societies expectations is the way to live life.
