20" widescreen

i have this monitor.very good picture,no ghosting, you will like it,dont no about wall mounting,

Another site (no names mentioned of course) are doing this monitor for £119 at the moment. Quite a bit less than OCUK's £199. How the hell can they afford to sell it so cheaply?!

Thinking of a 22" monitor now. I understand the max resolution is the same but the physical size of the screen will feel like a more significant step-up in size from my current 17" mom-widescreen monitor. I think the physical screen height of a 20" widescreen is about the same size as the physical height of my 17" monitor. Is that correct?

Still a bit unsure about what size to get. Saw a 20" widescreen in a shop. Doesn't seem a great deal bigger than my current (4:3) 17" monitor. On the other hand the 22" screens have the same resolution (1600x1050) as the 20" screens. So is it really worth it?

I thought the image out of the box was fine. Yes maybe a little bright & I could turn it down slightly. But generally I thought it was fine. Not sure how much the DVI input has to do with that but it just seemed to set itself up. I just plugged it in, switched on the PC & was instantly impressed with the image. Very nice screen.

how do you find the whites on that screen?
Whites are fine. With my old 17" screen I certainly had to make some fine adjustments to the contrast & brightness to get the whites white & the blacks black. I've not had to do that with this screen. I'm pleased with the image quality straight out of the box. It's a big improvement over my old display.

One annoying thing with this monitor - when you power off the PC the little blue LED light on the bottom right of the panel flashes continuously. In a dark room it actually lights up the back wall! Anyone know how to stop this? I've been through the menu system on the monitor but I can't figure it out. Cheers.
