200 quid to spend.but on what?

I've a budget of £200 to spend on an upgrade.
I use my pc for gaming only, mainly MMOs Eve, wow and Dragon Age.
I was considering a new single GPU, but if i could sell on any components then I may have other options.
My spec is in my sig btw

Not long till the SSD maniacs come along!

What about a second monitor? Makes things a lot more productive? Or a cracking set of 5.1 speakers?

P.S. Is your Q6600 overclocked? I have the exact same CPU & board.

I'm cool with my monitor atm, and my speakers are rarely in use as I use a headset when gaming or my Denon amp Keff speakers for music

Yeah, just hoping I don't start getting any bottlenecks from my cpu or ram.
I'll be doing a full upgrade sometime next year so this should tide me over till then

if your Q6600 is at 3.2, then you will be fine, the gpu will give you a massive boost at your res.

I have a 6970. My Q6600 is at 3.6Ghz and there is no bottleneck what so ever. I can't imagine there would be any at 3.2 either.

4850 should destroy wow, wont think you'll see massive performance increase in a pretty old game like WoW.

i'd go for 128mb ssd, and move it over into your new build next year, leaves enough cash for new mouse/keyboard, boogie bug/mad baseball cap

GPU definately, 200quid well spent on stulids suggestion.

Id definately save for a new cpu/board/ram though aswell - the 2500k smashes that cpu

I'd say go for the HD6950 or get the cheaper GTX560Ti if you don't plan on going multiple monitors.
