2004 M3 High Kms Issues?

The report came back, while it's not too bad it will probably cost $5knzd to get that lot sorted so it would end up costing about $25k.. while that still represents great value for the M3 out here it's over my budget at the moment for a weekend car.

Report if anyone is interested;

Seems pretty average stuff for the age and KM of the car, nothing too bad jumps out from that report....

I can see why you'd decide to give it a miss if it puts you over budget.

But didn't you say you'd offered the seller £20k and he'd accepted or was that subject to what the inspection said??

Yeah I offered him 20k based on knowing it would need the tyres and pads. I got the inspection for peace of mind as I didn't want any nasty surprises at the MOT. Once you factor in discs all round and the cv boot and the belt it put me over the budget.

I think the problem is I don't really know what I'm after, the s2000 would be the most sensible purchase as I'd be able to sell it for a reasonable price next year and it's cheaper to run.. But then I've had one and I was set on the m3 so it doesn't seem as special now.

I want something quick but with good residuals!
