How is the racing overall, competitive and more overtaking than F1 ???

The first thing you notice is how polished the F1 experience is compared to A1GP; granted F1 has had 20 years to get the show slick.

There's a huge spread of abilities in A1GP, ex F1 guys like Verstappen, Noda, Yoong & Firman are up against guys who are used to racing F3 cars with half the power and relatively more grip. That leads to some interesting incidents down the field.

This week was better than Brands in that the track is wider and has overtaking opportunities, there were some great moves off the start line in the feature race. Given that the cars are identical I think that there will be a number of occurrences like this when the track suits the cars and times when it won't suit.

All in, it has a lot of potential but they need to get the teething troubles sorted fast or they'll lose the audience - having no timing on screen or for the comentators for a large part of the feature just encourages folk to turn off.
