2005 Monaco Grand Prix

Looks like Kimi could well be one stoppping.

That accident could have been so much worse though. Imagine that at the end of the tunnel...

Commentators on Radio 5 reckon Mclaren have lost out by not pitting

If he is 1 stopping - then he may not have had enough space in his tank to fill up to the brim to get him home - that would have led to a splash and dash at then end which rarely work.

Will be an interesting few laps.

If he's on a 2 stop then they knew that the safety car was coming out a long time before it did *well - 60 seconds*

They would have done some very quick calculations there.

What's the reason for the pink/orange that seems to be creeping into the McLaren colour scheme? Kimi has a new helmet in the same colours

The new helmet is a one off - contains a lot of diamonds - willb e acustioned for charity tonight I think.

Montoya has the same thing.

As for the colours - maybe the slightly adjusting it for when Johnny Walker takes over from West later this year.

M.Schumacher does a 1:15.995 on lap 39
Raikkonen does a 1:15.921 on lap 41
and M.Schumacher does a 1:15.842 on lap 40

He's a lap down to Raikkonen, his fastest lap came after Raikkonens but is a lap earlier..

Errr...

R.Schumacher pits on lap 41
Raikkonen pits on lap 42

Webber is closing on Alonso - 0.7s behind.

Webber could be in with a shout now..will the Renault have enough fuel to get to the end...

Barrchello stalls in the pits on lap 46. :D
Liuzzi pits on 46 as well..
