Is this worth the extra wonga? I am at the Point of accepting a refund for my 2005FWP. After a series of replacements with back light issues (Calm down PieEater I know the word Dell gives your tourettes syndrome). I realy love the monitor, it's just that it bugs me to accept a non 100% product, and Dell seem to be totally oblivious to the issue. What would you recommend as an alternative, and as asked I would be looking at adding £280 to my refund :eek:

Will I benefit. I couldn't go less that 20" now I made the upgrade from 17". Did you folks find it the same when you upgraded to the 24"?

I love my 24" 2405. I've not looked back since buying it.

Night and day, the 2405's extra area and better panel (IMO) make all the difference.

How are they for 1600 x 1200 gaming ??, and are they really that much bigger, as in new room required bigger

I had the same dilema with my Dell 2005, in the end I couldn't be ***** with Dell anymore and bought the Eizo 21".

I have a 2005fpw, and ive had it for approx one year now. I wish i waited and bought the 2405.
