2006 Australian Grand Prix - Race 3/18

Name these films...

"The distance to Chicago has been estimated to be in the vicinity of 106 miles, our petrol measurements have shown the recepticle to be full, our nicotine fiber capsules take up merely half the available space in their container, there is little illumination, and our eyes are covered by protective solar spectacles."

"My physcial embodiment shall reappear at this specific situs subsequent to a period of undeterminable duration following its departure from same."

"Execute that particular piece of musical composition in order to bring evocation of a period of time that belongs to the recent history."

"I require a beverage consisting of an Italian vinoid to which a sample of an opaque Slavic alcoholic liquid has been introduced, the commingling of the aforementioned ingredients having been achieved by a vigorous vertical iterated agitation, rather than by adopting a centrifugal acceleration facilitated by the rotation of a miniature pole or tube with a slightly flattened termination."

What did he say? i didnt get it on my net work :(

Alonso calls over the radio:
I've very relaxed

His engineer:
I'm pretty chilled out myself

Jenson blows up on the last lap - stops 30meters from the line.

Sato pits on lap 57..

Jenson's helmet is going to go flying I think.

Yes Nick - you have a lot of work - for a start you've got to clean all the oily crap out of that car before you know what went **** up.

Raikkonen did the fastest lap of 1:26.045 on lap 57.

I thought that if you retire as a result of an engine failure you are still penalised by 10 places next time around.

I believe so...

If the cause of failure is the engine you should get penalised.
If it's anything other than the engine then you're in the clear.

Will check the regs later. Enjoying the A1GP at the moment.

Team GBR is only 3 seconds behind Malaysia and Darren mannign is going for it.

But Alex Yoong is the Malaysian Driver.

Also - Verstappen has finally found out how to drive that car properly - he's really having fun in it now.

I seem to remember in Bahrain (or was it Malysia) that one of the runners blew up, but the official cause of retirement was a Hydraulic failure, allowing them to change the engine penalty free. Could have been Fisi?

Yup - Bahrain. :D

Then Flavio has a go at him...*We didn't hear that one...with Flavio's language - probably for the best*

Ralf set for post-race penalty?

Ralf Schumacher may be robbed of his podium finish at Sunday’s Australian Grand Prix.

The German is thought to have passed compatriot Nick Heidfeld under safety car conditions midway through the race.

McLaren’s Juan Pablo Montoya was clearly shown to have made the illegal pass, however there is speculation both Ralf and Jenson Button may have as well.

Montoya and Button eventually retired so will escape penalty, but Ralf went on to finish third and could have 25 seconds added onto his final race time.

Ralf was among the field’s most impressive in Melbourne after recovering from a drive-through penalty – due to speeding in the pit lane – to make a number of passes and claim the final podium spot.
