My parents iMac (mid 2007 20" C2D, with Lion installed) has developed a fault. It will lose its internet connection randomly, which can sometimes be reset by turning off/on the wifi, or a reboot. Other times it will simply not reconnect, until some point later in the day. The iMac is connected to a BT infinity router, there is also a PC that is connected via wifi on the same desk, which does not suffer from the problem. As it does this randomly I think it probably points to a faulty wifi card (can these be replaced in an iMac?), unless someone can point me in a different direction.
