Cool im looking to order one too. does it contain any dead pixels and was it brand new (i.e not refurbished)?

Also the revisions should be on the sticker which is located on the back of the screen.

cheers,
Wahid.

It came in a box with all packaging and accesories. Haven't noticed any dead pixels yet. Will check the revision at home - I already packed it back in the box. Thanks for tip :)

This offer with itcsales lasts only this June so hurry :D

Got it today - took two days for delivery
It's RT803 - guess it's S-IPS. Now if somebody be so kind to tell me how to check the revision :D

Depends on the toilet paper mark :D
2 things

1) remove that competitor before you get suspended

2) the revision number should be on a sticker on the back of the monitor

After reviewing monitor closely at home I found 3 dead pixels and one stuck in grey color. But I can't see them from 3 foot distance :D

Revision is A03. Monitor made in Czech Republic and considering more than 400 hours of use noted in menu is used/refurbished.

Anyway I'm 100% safisfied with this monitor. Stands adjustments, multy inputs, S-IPS panel and even USB hub :D
This is great monitor :)

the place you got it from are a bunch of lying ****** then, they advertise it as new...

i would be looking to get a new screen as they have blantly mis-sold it to you

so you have saved £20 off a new screen direct from dell and you have ended up with a refurb - doesn't seem a good deal at all...

The Dell handled refurbs are excellent, mine has no dead/stuck pixels and no issues, the only thing that's not new is the casing but that's in new condition anyway, Dell replace the interior parts with new ones but told me they mark the panel as a refurb becaus ethe casing is not replaced (unless it is scratched or damaged)

Maybe 400+ hours are done for testing
Anyway it's back to £320 shipped directly from Dell and "Usually Ships In: 3+ Weeks" isn't exactly I was looking for.

Have to see what warranty policy says - perhaps I can RMA mine directly with Dell.
Anyone knows how many dead/stuck pixels should this monitor have in order to approve RMA? And how long it usually takes?

How can you check whether a LCD widescreen has any dead/stuck pixels, thanks!
manually have a look, i.e set your desktop background to white delete all icons and hide the task bar look for anything black/different coloured then set it to black and look for white/stuck pixels

It's 8ms and not 16ms, Dell have always been modest with these figures for this screen.

In the real world it performs no different to the NEC SIPS 20" @ 6ms too and neither screen has any ghosting or any traits of a slow ms time in any application (used both screens and own the Dell)

does anyone no what revision ocuk are selling at the moment as i would love a sips panel. common gibbo or jokester or anyone from ocuk please help a returning customer

You are highly unlikely to get a PVA panel one in the UK at this time, in fact it's almost impossible :p

I don't work for OcUK, you would be best phoning or sending a webnote to the shop.
