Look out the glad rags folks it's F1's annual glamour fest at Monaco. This weekend the rich and famous get to parade up and down the grid while Martin Brundle proves just how little they know about F1.

Toro Rosso will be bringing the new STR3 which means a five place grid drop for Vettel because it's a gearbox change. Bourdais gets away with it due to a DNF in Turkey.

Remember it's Monaco and everyone needs to continue with their glamour lifestyle so practice is on Thursday followed by shopping on Friday and Qualifying on Saturday.

Thursday practice : 0900 - 1030 & 1300 - 1430
Saturday practice : 1000 - 1100
Saturday Qualifying : 1300 - 1400, ITV 1210 - 1435
Sunday Race : 1300 - 1500, ITV from 1155. Highlights, Monday 0005 (ITV) & 1800 (ITV4)

If you're interested in seeing what the tracks look like I've updated my Google Earth links and flyovers. Unfortunately it's still not perfect, although Fuji is now high res thanks to the April update but the imagery for Valencia is a fair age so the purpose built bridge isn't visible. To play the flyovers select the flyover folder and press the play button at the bottom of the Places pane.

Monaco...the spectacle of watching Hamilton and Alonso negotiate the corners last year was great, but in all the GP's up to that point it has proven itself to be so boring. F1 needs Monaco though so I will patiently watch.

Can't stand Monaco, its just an excuse for a jolly for the top brass in F1 :) My boss included!

Just got back from a weekend in monte carlo

All ready to go more or less, they were still setting up the comms equipment while I was there, so I tok a stroll up the pit lane :)

If it rains it will be a parade with an occasional spin.
Occasional spin?? The last wet Monaco GP in 97 had 10 classified finishers, the one previous to that in 96 had 7 and only 4 of those were actually running at the flag.

Monaco in the rain is just carnage, manhole covers and road markings get really nasty when they're wet.
