200mm radiator

Hi folks

Has anyone installed a 200mm radiator for use with a low rpm 200mm fan?

I've got an Antec 1200 case and I don't think fitting a 360 radiator is an option for me in my case with the amount of drives installed, and I'm not sure a 240 rad will be enough for CPU & GPU cooling.

Ive got a 240mm cooling my CPU and motherboard, when i upgrade my GPU i will need to add a 200mm rad myself. In terms of surface area and build quality the phobya radiator is great, however the problem is finding suitable fans to do it justice. I think just a 200mm rad would not give you much overclocking room with a cpu and a gpu. you could stick a 240mm at the exhaust and a 120 to 360mm slim radiator mounted to the left of your drive bays to where the drive bay fan is (if the picture bellow is your case).

Hmm.. it doesn't sound like the 200mm rad will be good for much. I may be better off using 2x240 rads front & back to cool CPU & GPU then?

ooh ooh, I know this one, the Silverstone FN181 is the best noise/performance fan for phobya 200mm rads

people often assume the airpenetrator is better (the AP181) but the FN181 at 700rpm matches the performance of the AP181 at 1200rpm

Exactly what i would do, with gentle typhoons or SP120's accompanying the radiators, you will have plenty of cooling to take care of both your CPU and GPU.

Many people say that you need a lot of rad space but its simply not true.

A 240mm rad will cool an over 3770k and a 7970 with ease.. I have mine on a 240+120 setup with fans on low and I get OK temps with pure silence.

The fans that come with the Antec 1200 seems pretty quiet to me, I have them all set to their lowest speed, so not sure if I need to replace those for the rads?
