2011 Census data mapified!

Lol in my town there is a consistent gradient in all directions around the main cemetary with the people with the best health living closest to it through to the worst health living the furthest with little to no exceptions, weird.

Its not very good at covering where I live. In the same parts that all have a second address outside the UK, they're 100% aged 100 or over. This village works like that in Hot Fuzz. I know better.

It must be all the long haul flights they're doing. ;)

Plus, there's also a few streets 100% female. They aren't. :p

Fascinating that Rochdale does seem to have any areas with more than 5% Asian, however there are schools in the area with 100% Asian ethnicity population.

Perhaps the census data is not accurate.

It does rely on honesty I don't think they actually check how truthful the replies are only that you replied.

I feel you are correct though the data claims a 87% white population in my area I know that's absolute rubbish I can't imagine its changed that much in 3 years. Guesstimate around 50-60% white currently.

Is there anyone who didn't check to see how close the nearest ghetto was? :D

I looked at police.uk to compare,
the only thing the Police in my area ever do is check if people are speeding.

I find it interesting that people who identify themselves as "no religion" are usually in the city center and the percentage drops from ~40% to 20 or less as you progress to the suburbs.

Yep,

True.

I remember going to London about 8-10years ago.

Very different back then.

2001 8.5% of london citizens were muslim. Now its 12.4. So a big increase, but visually that's still only an extra 4 in every 100 people you see, so not convinced by what you say.

Maybe there's a conspiracy for Muslims to identify as "no religion" so we don't realise the true horrors unfolding :D

(Sarcasm clearly).

People are not evenly spread throughout London so would alter your perception.

Indeed, in green street is 80%+ Indian/Pakistani but if you go down the centre of London or Canary Warf is mostly White British with some Far east Asians (and a lot of mix race couples of those two races)

Religion, Muslim, look at north london

Reminds me of

You need to fix your scale. If you don't it will skew the scale to point out small differences.

Press space equally. There are some areas with close to a 50% muslim population. Most of London has a relatively low muslim population. 12.4% someone said previously seems about right.

Blimey!

Press space equally if you haven't already. If you don't the bands are created to highlight differences.

People getting supposedly 100% female streets may also be falling for the same trap. It just means that it is far more female than average. Not that it is 100% female.

Without space equally enabled it seems like every minority is approaching a majority. I'm not sure what the point of the setting is, as its certainly not accurate.

It's useful when you are looking at small numbers as otherwise it'll get swamped. If everything falls into the lower 0-12.5% band (or conversely the top band) then that isn't always useful.

People are just accidentally misusing it. It shouldn't be the default imo.
