2012 ticket prices

Looks like the preliminary prices have been set out for the Olympics in 2012.

There's a pdf on there with the full price layout. It's got 5 price tiers that aren't really explained anywhere so it looks like the tickets on the final day of Athletics are somewhere between £725 and £50. And £2012 to see the opening ceremony :eek:

Will definetely be looking to get tickets to the Athletics though, and hopefully some swimming and cycling events too.

Anyone looking to go?

I registered a while back. Would like to see athletics and swimming with possibly some badminton in there aswell

Just hope the ticket prices are reasonable

Tempted to go and see the Archery and maybe the Football final - probably be the best quality of football that stadium sees

Final ticket prices are being announced and sold in March 2011 along with the final schedule so hopefully they wont change much between now and then.

I'll be going to see some of it I hope, I can't pass off the chance of seeing some of the olympics! Prices have sort of suprised me though, I won't be going to see much! Maybe an athlete will hire me by then and I'll get free tickets

The entire thing is a total waste of money, including the extortionate prices they are demanding to go and watch some 'sports'. Echo my thoughts towards Glasgow in 4 years time.

The badminton is going to be in Wembley Arena, not Wembley Stadium.

Yes it is a bit, I didn't mean for it to read all tickets to see it would be £2012, but more the shock at the expense of it.

Just incase anyone was wondering you can also get tickets to see the opening ceromony for £20.12 which is much more reasonable

I don't see the attraction of watching it in person.... I mean, it'll be on every tv channel.
