2013 Darwin Awards

I don't get it, are these just lifted from places on the official site? This just looks like some bloke's random blog. The official site only has two entries up for this year.
 
10. When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on a Seattle street by sucking on a hose, he got much more than he bargained for. Police arrived at the scene to find a very sick man curled up next to a motor home near spilled sewage. A police spokesman said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline, but he plugged his siphon hose into the motor home’s sewage tank by mistake. The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges saying that it was the best laugh he’d ever had and the perp had been punished enough!

Well the Darwin Awards require someone to kill themselves in a stupid fashion, so only the first one qualifies. The rest have been around for a long time and are mostly made up. None are from 2013.

Most of these are not Darwin awards. Darwin awards are only handed out to people who take themselves out the gene pool in the stupidest of ways , 99% of the people listed on this page where left alive. Still funny though

One can still get a Darwin if ones stupidity merely renders one incapable of reproducing. One doesn't strictly need to actually die! ;)
 
I have an irrational hatred of people who quite clearly can't work the internet, who post on an Overclocking forum. Ban for OP please. :p
