*** 2014/15 Pre-season Friendly Thread ***

Rather meaningless player wins a meaningless game - sounds about right to me.

Oh come on Frank, its not his fault the price that was paid for him or the fact moyes was out of his depth, he will go on to be a very good player for any team and im happy he scored today, friendly or not.

As much as I like calling him Fellaidud. He wasn't that bad when he came on and pathetic cheering him sarcastically and booing him. Still want him sold but no reason to boo.

irrespective of the price, he was the wrong player for Utd - so it still makes him irrelevant / meaningless

May well go onto become a good player for Napoli or someone else, but unlikley it will be for one of the top clubs in one of the top leagues

Totally agree. In order to compete United need to develop speed in attack. Both Carrick and Fellaini will hinder this and therefore need to be replaced. Carrick less of an issue but Fellaini is not EPL top 6 quality. If United want to challenge chelsea, City, Liverpool and Arsenal then they need to address this issue.
