Jesus Stan, those plants are massive. I have a couple small ones that I started from plugs quite late. finally getting some flowers now.

Etna for 'mild' and Bhut Jolokia for slightly less mild.

Have a few on the go, mostly sweet peppers and jalapeno. This is my 2nd batch after my first lot got wiped out by deer. Still having problems with chipmonks too.

I currently have 18 Aji Limon Chillis growing on 6 of my plants atm as I messed them up and let them get too long and gangly.

The other 2 Aji i have i snapped them in half leaving about 2ft, and they are bushing out a lot now but are only just getting to the floor stage which is good i guess. My Scotch bonnets are slinging out tonnes of flowers across the 7 plants but only 2 chillies on them as the flowers keep dying and falling off i have no idea whats happening to them

I do need to feed them all though as ran out of chilli focus 2 weeks ago so they have been on water rations

Few of my Aji's

Man I can't wait to make some sauces with my Ajis, they are a most awesome chilli! Jealous of your plant maturity. I have no idea how mine are doing as I have a friend coming over to water the 34 plants while I'm in the UK until end of Aug, so who knows what I'll come back to!

Nice fruits, I got 4 good size ones now, 7 pots and something else, I lost the plant stick so either a Moruga or Reaper.

Neil, you realise that as that's your firstborn you're supposed to eat it in one mouthful!! Nice Romano. I like how you put the pen AND your hand in the photo, so we couldn't ask you if you have tiny hands and a normal sized chilli :)

In terms of the Aji Limon I would sacrifice 1 or 2 and see if the seeds look mature. They won't look like dried seeds, as they'l be moist, but they should be roughly Aji Limon seed sized (!!??). Don't forget to munch one to check the heat is there. Picking fruits usually stimulates more growth anyway, so you can't lose....

Looking really good!

How on earth do they work out soil literage, got 10 x 11litre pots and 100liters of soil. Thought that would do as they're being repotted so some extra soil there and only really need 9 pots anyway. All 100 litres gone and only 6 pots filled.

Curry is ripening

Diablo has lots of chilli

King moricha and nagalah loads of flowers but finding it hard to pollinate like every year.

And the 6 I reported, should have done it like 6 weeks ago, but I'm not very fast at doing things like this. Those are bits of wick coming out the bottom, need to get down Ikea.

I will however be trying to overwinter all off them. So should be good for next year.

I think they're in the same bull park as cayenne scoville wise. But yes the flavour is very much for currys. They are amazing for that, not so good for anything else.

Damn! I knew there was something i needed from town today.

Managed to repot half of my chillies last night and then I ran out of suitably sized pots!

Looking forward to trying one my my scotch bonnets.

ha, i had half of that romano in a tika wrap and it was very tasty :D

should the aji be that yellow? all of mine are still green, some with a purple/black tinge?

how is your gororong coming on? mines got a couple of good size (still green) fruit now.

nothing seems to be ripening (other than the romanos) just now. everything is fruiting though, even the late batch.
