bring it on,

want a x99 and shiny new gpu to replace my out of date over clocked 2600k and 7970

oh wait my rig still spanks all those consoles and is more than adequate for 1080p gaming,

err

I'm looking forward to buying a GTX780 in the new year to replace my ageing 580. Watchdogs is due out in April I think, so with a 780 under the hood it's going to be sweet. ;)

Why would you care?

I've still got an i5 2500K from 2011, 3 years old next month, still runs everything brilliantly and have seen zero reason to upgrade. Breaking the pointless upgrade cycle for the sake of it was the best thing I did. Leaves you money to spend on better stuff than having more 3dmarks than a load of people you've never met :p

2010 was my finish to the upgrade cycle. Wasted a lot of money for no reason.

Why would I care ?, Probably because I'm posting on a PC enthusiast forum with people who love new hardware or I thought they did.

We still love new hardware but we don't sit and fret becuase the 2013 video card we bought has been replaced by a 2014 one. When it stops handling the games you want on the settings you want, upgrade, until then, stop caring? :p

No ones sitting and fretting at all, In future I'll remember never to ask the ocuk community a question and expect an answer that isn't filled with sarcasm and bile ;)
