So how has this year treated you?

Job/Career - Handed in my notice to accept a job back in the middle of London. Feeling both excited and nervous!

Car(s) - Started driving again. Got a new M135i then ditched it for something else far more enjoyable.

Holiday - None this year. Really have to do something about this.

Relationship - Other half has started to talk about kids... and marriage :eek: !

High - Securing a new job

Low - Becoming bored and frustrated with my current employer

2015 Plans - Enjoy the new job. Try to arrange time off to go away. save more and earn more!
 
Job/Career - Handed in my notice to move to a cool new position with Jaguar Land Rover.

Car(s) - The Z4 was getting on a bit and I needed something more practical, so just got a used M135i

Holiday - Skiing, a week in Cornwall and a week Diving as well as a few Euro breaks this year. Really enjoyable

Relationship - Got Married :D

High - Marriage and a new house

Low - Hugely frustrated with previous employer.

2015 Plans - Closing a potentially super large deal at work
 
2014 for me:

started with a new job better money better prospects
then it was time for a break so went to Budapest for a long weekend highly recommended!
Next was a holiday to Portugal in the Algarve
Whilst in Portugal I proposed to the otherhalf and she said yes
Got back looked at houses and I should have bought my first house on Friday

Its been an great year with lots of great memories and nights out! and to top it off I was told by my boss and his boss to apply for this new job which is better money and no more shifts!!! (basically in the bag but HR like to make themselves important)

I just hope 2015 is as good as this year has been!

The only low I can think of is my computer crapping itself but that turned into a plus as I now have a much better PC!
 
Job/Career - Numerous interviews, but yet to have any success. Need something soon, as current role holds no future promotions and I've had measly pay rises over the last few years.

Car(s) - Just reach 4 years of ownership with the Focus ST. She's still going strong, but need to sell shortly to raise some funds, and reduce overall running costs

Holiday - Amsterdam and Berlin, enjoyed both.

Relationship - Got engaged

High - Bought our first house

Low - Being diagnosed with Coeliac disease

2015 Plans - Try and get a new job or if it comes to it, a completely new career.
 
Job/Career - Recently employed on a contract worth pretty good money, can't complain!

Car - still haven't got one yet, they're so expensive and at the moment I don't see the need

Holiday - none, haven't been abroad in years!

Relationship - Broke up with Ex this year, got a shag piece pretty quickly, can't complain!

High - New job

Low - Breaking up with Ex

2015 - Do a few more Pro Certs and hopefully land a more lucrative job/contract! Invest more of my savings and go at least one good festival.
 
Job/Career - Business is good, busy and lots of interesting jobs and good travel. Hope it continues.

Car(s) - Don't do a massive amount of miles but enjoy it well enough. X5 going strong, z3 needs to be moved on but haven't got around to it

Holiday - Lots of lovely hols, plenty of snowboarding, couple of great hot holidays with the kids

Relationship - Lucky man even if I don't always act like it. Married with two nippers.

High - Getting the worst house on the best road in my area :)

Low - dad was ill and it was stressful (but he's better, yay!) and not getting planning for reworking my knackered house

2015 Plans - Getting planning I hope and sort house, continue world domination
 
2014:

First up went on a trip to Somalia and Ethiopia that took quite a lot of research.

Then flew to Istanbul and cycled to Shanghai to complete my London-Shanghai trip.

Wrapped that up in October and had a new job within a few weeks.

Completed a 200km (125mile) AudaxUK cycling event as the first step of some bigger plans.

Started a multi-stage trip with a mate walking the length of the Thames.

Also about 50% of the way through getting Irish citizenship which was a goal for the year.

Been booked for my first lecture about the bike trip.
 
Job/Career - Started well, had a fixed term promotion with the promise of it permanent in the future.

Car(s) - Started driving again. after 7 years on a motorbike! Bought a new polo, and yes i love the lil bugger.

Holiday - Went to Vegas in June, best week of my life

Relationship - 7 years together in October and asked her to marry me :)

High - Vegas, engagement, passing test again.

Low - as OP stated Becoming bored and frustrated with my current employer! Also close friends becoming very ill, even some passing away. Tough year.

2015 Plans - Find a new job, get on the property ladder! find wedding venue, go away with the financee, just us 2 for once!
 
Job/Career - Handed in my notice to accept a job back in the UK, Moved back here only to find there was no job.

Car(s) - had to sell my beloved GTIR and get an mx5 due to no job.

Holiday - None this year, did go to a mates house in somerset for 2 nights.

Relationship - had 2 shaggs this year, better than last year so far.

High - fairly often given that I lived in the mountains.

Low - Becoming bored and frustrated with unemploment

2015 Plans - get a job. maybe start the project that's been kicking around for 5-6 years and finally start doing something i enjoy.
 
Job/Career - In late 2014 I got a promotion to a 2nd Line Analyst at my current place, so still enjoying that at the moment

Car(s) - After getting shot of the trusty Focus a couple of years ago we bought a Honda Accord 2.2 CDTi Sports Tourer, so again still enjoying that. Got plenty of space for the drums and it goes too :D

Holiday - Went to Dorset for a long weekend in the summer, but only because I hardly had any A/L to take (more on that later). We haven't had a 'proper' holiday in two years so need to sort that really.

Relationship - My Fiancée and I set a date for March 2016, so that's all good :)

Misc - Went on tour with my band 4 times over the course of the year, released our debut album, also recorded a single which went on the covermount CD of Classic Rock magazine a few months ago. That took up pretty much 95% of my holiday this year, and next year if we're as busy as we have been this year that's only going to get worse :eek: After 11 years I bought a new shiny drum kit which i'm over the moon with, it's really nice. Built a gaming PC for the first time in 6 years, so loving that too. Also got back to playing football with work mates in a 6 a side league after 2 years out of it.

High - 2 and half week UK tour as main support to Northern Irish rockers The Answer! Probably the best tour to date we've been on, and they're honestly the nicest guys in rock and roll (they can bloody well drink too)

Low - Probably about a month ago, sustained ligament damage in my ankle playing football :( really hurt and still not playing yet.

2015 Plans - Continue (or start :o) with wedding planning, get a 2nd album written with the band and (hopefully) get something in the pipeline with regards to getting a bit more serious. Festival appearances would be awesome too. Continue to enjoy life :)
 
Job/Career -big change - 9 years with previous company/job going great/easy life/good money. was in discussions about buying into the business as a director. Suddenly - business sold to a massive corporate entity. 4 months in to new company and not sure about it - will give it another 6 months and see what happens.

Car(s) - Still loving my vRS Octavia estate - brilliant car, great economy, can't fault it.

Holiday - Tenerife with the wife and kids for 10 days, couple of weekends away with them as well, couple of overnight stays with just the wife.

Relationship - Married 12 years, with two kids.

High - not sure really? makes me look back at the year and think.......

Low - change of employer

2015 Plans - more cycling, work out my future employment one way or another, 5 days in magaluf stag do for the last of my mates to finally get married.
 
Job/Career - Promoted to Team Leader, had to fight for extra money for 3 months though.

Car(s) - lol, old Focus.

Holiday - New York, Boston, Toronto and a few short trips in the UK, can't complain.

Relationship - Managed to find a woman that can tolerate me for more than 5 mins.

High - Promotion/meeting GF.

Low - Finding out that a less experienced and less senior person is paid more than me. This happened twice.

2015 Plans - Find new job. Enjoy first proper holiday with GF.
 
Job/Career - Set up on my own. Had a good first year so far, although it could have been better. Work life balance is pretty decent! Get out of bed at 11am most mornings and work whatever hours I like.

Car(s) - Don't drive. Uber is all.

Holiday - Had a great holiday in Italy with friends, followed by a relaxing trip to Rhodes. NYC for Xmas got vetoed by the missus, but spent an awesome week in a tiny cottage in the lake district a couple of months ago.

Relationship - 3 years in January 2015. She lives with my friend and I, but it's going to exclusively be just her and I soon.

High - Great start to the new company meant I could take 3 months off over the summer! Read a lot, was awesome.

Low - Taking three months off means having to put twice the effort in when I started working again in September. Lesson learned.

2015 Plans - Selling up with my friend and buying with the girlfriend. Off to India for a month in February, and have got weddings all over the world to go to next year! Very excited. Hopefully work will continue to improve and can have a relaxing 2015.

7/10 for the year, reckon 2015 could be even better.

Pretty good - had a great year. :)

Job/Career - Going well. More recognition, little bonus and pay rise. Our team won a national prize for what we do, and our CEO sought us ought to come and congratulate us. :)

Car(s) - Still have my 350Z. Still loving it. Had it remaped and new exhaust fitted and drives like a dream. It's gorgeous. I seldom use it, but when I do I love it.

Holiday - Only 3 this year but it's been an expensive year. Maldives was our honeymoon, then a trip to Ireland and off to Australia for Christmas. :)

Relationship - Married and happier than a pig in poo. :cool: :D

Health - At my fittest I've been, lowest bodyfat too - but my lifts in the gym have been the heaviest they have been since losing around 10kg. So I'm stronger, leaner, and more powerful than I have been in a long time. Blood pressure is good, blood lipid levels are beyond optimal, large thoracic capcity 107% for someone of my age. Psychologically feel goooood too. :)

High - Wedding clearly!

Low - Getting older.

2015 Plans - Buy a house. Try and achieve a little more at work. More PBs in the gym. Sort out foreign investments.
 
Job/Career - Nothing new to report there.

Car(s) - I don't drive.

Holiday - None for the past few years. However I plan to take this Christmas off for a couple of weeks.

Relationship - Got engaged.

High - As sad as it may be, buying a new TV and some gadgets is probably my high for the year.

Low - Washing machine exploded and ripped out half my kitchen. 2.5 months later and still waiting for the repairs to commence.

2015 Plans - Aim to publish another paper with some results I'm not far off accumulating.
 
Job/Career - Still Dancing to the Tune of Corporate IT... expect many more years to come

Car(s) - BMW330i Having had a service, changed Tyres and generally maintained the Car hope to keep this running for a good while longer.

Holiday - Still have 24 of my 25 days holiday to take however nowhere to go now :(

Relationship - Have not had one for over 10 years. See myself as the old sex toy sat at the bottom of a box gets picked up every once in a while contemplated then slung back in the box as a more interesting toy catches the eye!

High - Still Loving having my own place!

Low - N/A I'm always on a High!

2015 Plans - Must go on Holiday, Need to fix heating downstairs, Must Conquer the Universe!
 
Job/Career - Stopped with the freelancing, secured employment, outside London for the first time since graduating (7 years!)

Car(s) - Golf estate just died, festive green Mazda 626 acquired for £500 (bangernomics)

Holiday - No time, money, two kids, maybe we'll spend some time relaxing in the Lakes in Easter.

Relationship - Had second child in August. All cool.

High - Buying our first house (Sept)

Low - The stress of buying a house! Had to change solicitor when they decided they couldn't be bothered to work on our behalf any more.

2015 Plans - Get the new house sorted (we've just spent two months renovating the place). Live a little.
 
Job/Career - Good chance of promotion before Christmas or early next year. Which means a couple quid an hour more away from minimum wage :) Passed a maths exam, have last one tomorrow. Other courses are going well, and will hopefully be good for me to get my target.

Motorbike(s) - Still have my Tiger 800xc, love it.

Holiday - None this year, haven't for about 4 years now

Relationship - Saw a hot Italian girl for a few months, but it ended. Still good friends though.

High - Passing my maths test (I am terrible at it) starting my college courses.

Low - No sexy time with Italian girl

2015 Plans - Get promotion if I haven't got it already. Pass all my courses, then move onto next one I September. Maybe get myself a GF and all the fun that entails.
 
Job / Career - Started out doing data training using SAS, now moved to a more production role with the same software + Business Objects :) - hopefully it leads some were

Car - little meriva, its cheap, its cheerful and its reliable

Holiday - Nope, but have taken time off to just relax

Relationship - Whats that?

High - Moved out to new place, Started Live Streaming on Twitch which is great fun :)

Low - being reminded how long I've been single for

2015 - Who knows. My brother gets married.
