Youngs was so good, without a doubt he has played himself into amazing form.
Overall not much rugby played this Championship except today. Wow.
Agreed, Youngs is finding his feet and such an exciting player to watch now
The sad part is that Scotland's first two/three matches they could and probably should have won if they'd had a bit more composure.
Agreed, Scotland were unlucky not to get more points in most of their games but as shown time and again - not clinical enough & not enough composure.
Nigel Owens is pretty great haha
I want to see the video of him telling off Mike Brown and one of the Frenchies. Brown going "sorry sir, sorry sir, yes sir"!
Agreed, brilliant! N.O. is turning into a real class ref, he has bad days but majority of the time you can count on him to balance the game slightly and to keep things flowing if the game is going well. Nothing worse than some of the broken play we've seen from ref's picking up on every single little mistake/could be forward pass and stopping play to check the TMO.
All in all one of the best 6N I've watched, for TV coverage and exciting games.
I think the best side won - Ireland have carried great form over from 2014 along with some amazing set-piece work and seem so consistent in their performances and play. They'll be good to watch vs the southern sides in the WC as consistency is key. I still think they rely on Sexton too much, so quite nice to see they can play without him. Paul O'Connel showing his skills more and more now the focus isn't on O'Driscoll.
England well deserved second place, for such a young side they did very well, will be good to watch in the WC but I don't expect much from them vs SA and NZ. They'll fall apart and may even struggle vs Fuji.
Wales, well being a Welsh supporter I might be slightly biased. They didn't deserve to win following their poor start to the 6N and actually good to see such form coming into their play towards the end, considering the politics going on in Welsh rugby (worse than the French!). They need to be so much more consistent with that form - the WC will show that as you can't give opportunities away like they sometimes do (and get away with them). Wales on form/hungry for the whole of the WC will be exciting to watch, but I don't see it happening.
France did well considering the amount of changes they went through. It was good to see them actually pulling some plays together vs England and even in the Wales and Scotland games. I think they are a very strong side but their hearts don't seem to be in it unless they're getting hammered. The players are not to blame.
Italy showed some promise in the scrum and a few exciting players, but all in all far too much lacklustre play and looking like not enough experience as a team (when they have no excuse really).
Scotland a similar vein to Italy really, some great players, some rubbish luck, some rubbish plays but I don't think they deserved the wooden spoon over Italy.
