2016 FA Community Shield … Leicester City v Manchester Utd … Sunday 7th August *** spoilers ***

But then if you warm up you warm up the players you want to play right? It's terrifying to think mourinho might consider Valencia as his first choice right back

Yeah I guess, but he still needs to assess I suppose. Still 3+ weeks till the end of the window.

Valencia also got three assists last weekend

Dont get me wrong, at this level he will show how **** he really is, but give him a little credit :D

Still convinced he was mind-controlled by a player who knows how to play in that game. The real Valencia doesn't do anything other than run and lose the ball.

Mourinho keeps on saying that his squad will be done by next weekend - whether he is talking about the four core buys that Utd have now completed and additional cheaper buys may come in is another matter , but I wouldnt be surprised if it was total.

Utd also drastically need to do some sales also just to fit another player in, which may be harder to accomplish

Barclays must be loving it, no more dishing out to sponsor the league and you still have jokers like Mcmanaman and no doubt Pulis calling it the Barclays Premier League.

Again seeing that Ibra can be crazy powerful in challenges in the same way Carroll often is, but he's also a tad reckless, one high boot already and that big challenge on Morgon, he was really going for the player not the ball. I think there will be games he absolutely bullies the hell out of defenders but others he'll get carded a lot for his antics.

Rooney is either rubbish or average 95% of the time. That other 5% he is decent but nothing special. He really shouldn't be at United at all anymore.

Yup, Utd in general look awful as they have done in all 3 games I've seen, yes they played better in the second half against Gala, they made way more changes and Gala's already not good team looked tired and completely woeful in defence. While Gala weren't tired Utd looked truly awful in the first half of that game.

The team Mourinho starts in the league both in general and for important games will be interesting. Utd needed a monumental improvement in offence and I don't really believe Mourinho is capable of providing such change, okay buying great players is one way to bring in some attacking form and quality but if he continues to play Rooney in such a critical position failing to move well and awful in possession I can't see huge changes coming.
