Red is the new orange? Sort of a halfway house for me. At least we're starting to get a more colourful grid and it is easier to distinguish the cars. I really hope (as I do at the start of every season!) that this can compete.
The dude from Honda is either an expert in verbal sandbagging or otherwise not entirely confident the power gap has been closed!
The method they've used to attach the front spoiler is completely unique as far as I know. There's a lot of it and a lot of aero involved too.
I think the livery decision was made fairly late on. The 'orange' media campaign has only been running for less than 2 weeks, and now McLaren have just unveiled their 2017 team merchandise: surprise, surprise, not a hint of orange in there. All black and rocket red - the clothing would have a much longer supply chain involved.

Alonso's still his normal chirpy self, responding to a question on data sharing within the team: "If he [Hamilton] was watching more data from Rosberg last year, maybe he'd have won the championship".
