I'm getting an Ipad for Christmas - it will be the 2017 32gb model.

I have read a few reviews and a lot of these seem to criticise the screen. Apparently it is not laminated to the glass, and the reviews state that this causes reflection issues. They also state that in some cases if you press overly hard you may also notice the glass deflecting.

Just after some real world opinions from any peeps that have the current model, do you notice any issues with the screen?

Cheers!

The iPad 2017 is extremely similar to the air 1.

The glass is separate to the screen and pressure can deflect light. The repair costs if ever damaged are very low in comparison to the all in one lcd and digitizer alternatives.

Thanks Solus, never used an Air 1 before but being Apple I am assuming the screen will still look great.

Ipad will be used indoors 99% of the time so hopefully reflections won't be an issue.

If I were to purchase a new ipad now, I wouldn't touch the likes of the pro and the air 2. The 2017 would be top of my list.
