Woah, I only just clocked the results. I knew going into the weekend I had a small chance, but losing by one point makes me regret a lot of choices haha.

Fair play to Rob, he's bossed it all season long and definitely deserves to take it!
 
Well done guys :)

Unfortunately, I gambled on Ferrari being best and Vet taking WDC, so I stuck to my guns and chose not to swap it around after Merc sailed in to the lead. Ultimately it cost me points, but I feel I lost more due to stupid predictions.

That being said, a highlight was being classed in the top 300 with my predictions for one race.

My team:
Raikkonen
Vettel
Vandoorne

My cars:
Red Bull
Ferrari
Haas
 
I had three iterations of my team. First race, tweaked when it was clear Ferrari were on form and then another tweak when Torro Rosso lost Sainz.

The way I read the points system was;

Cars only score points for their finishing positions so they need to be strong teams even if this compromises your drivers.

Drivers get 5 points for out qualifying their team mate and bonus for making up places so as long as your pick is the strongest out of the team pairing and consistent in races they are going to deliver.

For the bulk of the season my picks were:

Vettel
Wehrlein (Swapped to Vandoorn at the end, not really sure why)
Sainz

Mercedes
Ferrari
Torro Rosso (swapped to Renault at the end)
 
As you may have guessed, my team was very similar to Rob's.

Had the same strategy of teams. Went with Mercedes and Ferrari throughout, I think I started with Haas, then switched to Torro Rosso and later Renault.

My drivers were Vettel, Hulkenberg and Kvyat for a long time. I kept Kvyat in there for far too long, eventually switched for Sainz and Alonso. If I kept Hulkenberg or switched Kvyat earlier for practically anyone I probably would have won :p

My strongest result was Hungary where I was in the 98.69th rank percentile.
My worst result by far was Singapore, no points from Ferrari, another 2 DNFs and 0 predictions correct.
 
I nearly went with Hulk and HAAS. IIRC I was worried about having HAAS on the books and couldn't afford Torro Rosso without swapping to Sainz. You're right though, Kvyat was your downfall :p
 
Not in the top 5 but here's what I picked, made one change after Italy so for the first 'half' I had:
Drivers: Bottas, Vettel and Grosjean
Teams: Mercedes, Toro Rosso and Haas

I think I was mostly mid-pack with that and my mediocre predictions, but after Italy for some reason I decided to change to:
Drivers: Hamilton, Verstappen, Vandoorne
Teams: Mercedes, Renault, Haas

Which just so happened to be just as Vettel imploded, and Bottas was on his bad run of form, so turned out rather well :)
