Will there be another war in the middle east? - No, but the full scale of atrocities will become known and I expect Assad and Co will turn the screws even further.
Will relations with the west and Russia improve? - "Improve" insomuch as Russia will smile with one face, and be eying up a spot on our collective backs to put a knife in. So more of the same.
Will Trump be successful? - Unlikely. My Christmas wish was a day one impeachment. Expecting massive amounts of Cronyism, posturing, immature tweeting and downright embarrassing politics.
Will OLED TVS become more widely available and affordable? - Yes and No. I expect nothing to become more affordable in 2017. Companies are wise to the ruse and are using it as a means to bolster profits, and even if they aren't doing that then the Brexiteers have ensured that the financial position of our country will stay at such a position that things won't get cheaper.
Will AMD bring something out that will knock the wind out of Nvidia? - Again, unlikely but I really hope they bring something epic to the table. Not just in the GPU space, CPU too.

I predict Theresa May won't call an election and plough on under the thin veil of a non-existent mandate, there will be more self serving laws passed and as Mynight rightly says further amendments to privacy laws that will pass completely unchallenged.
In lighter news I predict Alien Covenant will suck ass, Valve won't release any games, the clutch or the turbo will go on my car and I'll finally have an excuse to get something more fun to drive to work.
