Shame to see Rashford not start

Dier and Hendo is a tough choice. Both playing well at club level.
 
ITV pundits predictably talking Rooney up, apparently against Slovakia he was hoofing long balls because nobody was coming deep to help him, is it any wonder when he always drops to the half way line to take the ball off defenders.
 
Rooney didn't start at all against Slovakia, he came on for Wilshere if i remember correctly.
 
My attack would have been:
Rashford
Sterling Alli Walcott
Henderson Dier

And that's on form alone not reputation etc
 
I'd have played Rashford personally, United look considerably more potent when he plays, as would England imo.

lol, Rooney getting caught dawdling on the ball in the first couple of minutes.

Only 3 minutes played and already Rooney has returned the ball from defenders straight back to them multiple times and been dispossessed twice. I mean what's the point in a defender playing the ball to Rooney if he just knocks it straight back.
 
Will someone please pass the ball forward, pretty please.

Also the amount of times Sturridge has knocked the ball to someone expecting a one-two (What would happen at Liverpool) only for the ball to be passed back to a defender.
