Christmas is definitely on the way because the darts is back

I really don't fancy MVG this year. I fancy a bit of an upset, an unfancied name to shock. Anderson looks at his best but if his cage gets rattled then he's beatable.

I'll be having a few quid on:

Gurney @ 40/1
Van den Bergh @ 80/1
Ratajski @ 200/1
D. Webster @ 250/1

Ratajski's risen through the ranks fast and has beaten MVG this year.

I don't have a problem with women entering tbh. She played well. Problem is the standard of womens darts is still so poor, the top women would still struggle to beat a top 100 male player on a good day.

This Josh Payne fella isn't half bad. 109.9 average currently and hasn't dropped a leg against Chisnall in leading 2 sets to 0.

Ah, i know why, I had Anderson to win 4-0 or 4-1, so he was bound to lose the first 2 sets. Expect Anderson to win 4-2 and Dobey to completely collapse from here.

3-3, 25 maximums in this match!

1-1 in the decider.. make that 26 maximums!

Dobey's on a 9 darter.. fluffs it but leads 2-1.

Match of the tournament for me, that was sensational.

He has to perform regularly at that level though. How many players have come and gone where we've thought they could go on to bigger and better things only to flop miserably and disappear altogether.
