Extra tax revenues? Companies should be able to pay whatever they want to their employees but they shouldn't be bailed out with tax payers money if their businesses collapses like a house of cards.

30% of Congress wanted to do that in 2008 with Lehman Brothers - even after it was explained that the collapse of a company with $2 Trillion in debt would crash the economy.

Whilst we might disagree about the methods at least we have a Chancellor and PM that seem to be genuinely interested in improving the UK's productivity. I can't remember the last time that was a genuine Government priority we seem to have spent most of the last 30 years virtue signalling first and governing second.

How does throwing taxpayers cash to companies profit margins, help with productivity?

Again.... considering the unprecedented level of blatant dishonesty that has been displayed by the Tory party as a whole, let alone by some of it's main players (Boris while PM, pretending to be ambushed by a cake while getting ****ed up during lockdowns) How can you possibly sit there with a straight face and pretend you would rather continue with this utter ****-show of a political party we have had to endure for the last 12 years, versus giving the alternative a try.

Might I remind you that while Boris was busy lying, cheating and stealing his way through his tenure as PM, Starmer was found to actually have credibility and even after being investigated TWICE over "beergate / currygate" was found to be entirely innocent, unlike Boris and many others from Tory Party.
In the face of all this.... you would still prefer to choose the bunch of liars who have trashed the country for the last 12 years?
Its corruption , worse than all african dictatorships combined

It makes the UK a very attractive place for the USA to invest and operate in.
It does, the USA has also said the areas it wants = healthcare and related insurance, farming (GM) and imported food supply. For the last, look at the great recession of british farming as what will happen ( from history).

Great so massive cuts coming to public services to pay for tax cuts to the richest in society and to give bankers huge bonuses. Can't make it up

Most budgets at councils are already at or below the minimum deliverable services. Cant cut anymore or they`ll be sued.
