2023 World Snooker Championship - 3rd April to 1st May

Gutted it didn't go to a decider, missed most of second half of session, hope Si makes rapid inroads to becoming a top 16 player... He's been a breath of fresh air this tournament.

But fair play to Brecel, hell of a comeback (kind of reminded me of the Williams/Stevens final ~20 years ago), I just hope he has the temprement to deal with a Selby snorefest if Allen doesn't remember he's been by far the more successful player this year until this semi!
 
Wife has been watching this (I couldn’t), she switched over to see the F1 sprint, jokingly saying that they’d be on the same frame when she turned it back over.

She wasn’t far wrong.
 
Haven't watched much today as I've been out, but will definitely catch up on the Si Brecel match, absolutely gutted for Si

Really hope Brecel wins it now
 
Gone past my time prediction of 11.44pm. If Mark Selby had behaved himself and got this frame in the bag, it'd be done and dusted.
 
Might have to give up on watching the conclusion, way past my bedtime!

And Selby misses a brown, Allen takes it to 16-14. :cry:

Have to say thought this would be well over earlier in the session, where has this Mark Allen been today?
Love to see it go to a decider now, anyway the longer this goes on the better for Brecel tomorrow, only 13 hours until the First Session of the Final starts....
 
Patriotic sentiments aside, I can only hope Brecel beats Selby, if only for the good of snooker, because God help me, Selby's snooker is an affront to the game.
